Is the Kindle an Ultra Mobile Device?

There is no denying that the web experience on the Kindle provides a hint about why the product is intriguing: "Perhaps it’s because this reader is closer at heart to a mobile phone or UMPC than some of the others which came before" (Dial A Phone, 2007).

A few improvements would help elevate this product into UMD killer-product status.

  • Add ink experience to the reader
  • Improved reader of Adobe .PDF documents
  • Improved browsing experience
